The New Mexico Dirt Track Association was back this Sunday and they had some fun! We had 7 classes out on the small oval clay track for this event and it was a beautiful day of racing! Our biggest class was the Open Vintage Over 40 and these guy never fail to put on a show. Ken Kreider took the win for this race with his number 55 bike! Aurora Simpson had an exciting day as she got to race against her Grandpa. Aurora stayed in a close lead for most of the race and we think she was going easy on her Grandpa! She took the win for the 80-125cc class! We had a new rider this race and Andrew Mejia learned the ropes of Open Knobby and Open Amateur and promises to be back next time. A huge thank you to all the riders who came out to have some fun this weekend! Our next race is Saturday, June 18. If you have never raced Flat Track before and want to, head out to the speedway! Everyone is helpful and inviting to new racers! See you in June!
